Propano is an agricultural estate that dates back to 1525 and was formed by several farms that made up a land extension of over 200 "giornate piemontesi" (this is a form of measurement used in Piedmont that was based on the average amount of work an agricultural worker did by hand in one day).The main building has retained its original structure but some agricultural functions have benn transferred into a new building and the part which is no longer used for agricultural purposes has been converted into a hotel while the other part has been tastefully restored forming a charming "Agriturismo"with 10 comfortable rooms.
